【摘要】:Thispracticedescribestheproceduresfortherehabilitationofsewerlinesandconduitsforexistingpipelines6to180in.indiameterbytheinsertionofamachine-madefield-fabricatedspiralwoundlinerpipeintotheexistingpipelineusingawindingmachinewhichremainsstationaryintheinsertionpitor,alternatively,whichtravelsalongtheinterioroftheexistingpipeline.Theserehabilitationprocessescanbeusedinavarietyofgravityapplicationssuchassanitarysewers,stormsewers,culverts,andprocesspiping.Whenusingstationaryinstallationequipmentforexistingpipelines6to48in.,afterinsertion,thespiralwoundlinerpipeisexpandeduntilitpressesagainsttheinteriorsurfaceoftheexistingpipeline.Alternatively,forexistingpipelines6to108in.indiameter,thespiralwoundlinerpipeisinsertedasafixeddiameterintotheexistingpipelineandisnotexpanded,andtheannularspacebetweenthespiralwoundlinerpipeandtheexistingpipeisgrouted.Whenusingthetravelinginstallationequipmentforexistingpipelines6to180in.thespiralwoundlinerpipeispressedagainsttheinteriorsurfaceoftheexistingpipeline,exceptinthecornersofrectangularpipesorwhereobstructionsofoffsetsoccur.Alternatively,forexistingpipelines6to180in.indiameterandforsimilarsizedexistingnoncircularpipelinessuchasarchedorovalorrectangularshapes,thespiralwoundlinerpipeisinsertedasafixeddiameterintotheexistingpipeline,andtheannularspacebetweenthefixeddiameterspiralwoundlinerpipeandtheexistingpipeisgrouted.Thevaluesinparenthesesareprovidedforinformationpurposesonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Particularattentionisdrawntothosesafetyregulationsandrequirementsinvolvingenteringintoandworkinginconfinedspaces.
