【摘要】:Thistestmethoddescribesthegeneralrequirementsforevaluatingthelong-term,chlorinatedwater,oxidativeresistanceofmultilayertubingwhichincludesaninnerlayerofapolyolefinmaterialsuchasPEorPEX(forexample,seeSpecificationF1986orF1281).Thistestmethodoutlinestherequirementsofapressurizedflow-throughtestsystem,testpressure,test-fluidcharacteristics,failuretype,anddataanalysis.Thistestmethodisvalidforpolyolefinmaterialsthatarestabilizedwithhinderedphenolictypeanti-oxidantsthatshallbeanalyzedusingtheOxidativeInductionTime(OIT)method(forexample,D3895).Guidelinesandrequirementsfortesttemperatures,testhoopstresses,andothertestcriteriashallbestablishedbypriortestingofmultilayertubingandsolid-wallPEXandPEtubing.Otherrelatedsystemcomponentsthattypicallyappearinamultilayertubinghot-and-coldwaterdistributionsystemshallbeevaluatedwiththemultilayertubing.Whentestingmultilayertubingandfittingsasasystem,itisrecommendedthattheanticipatedend-usefittingtype(s)andmaterial(s)beincludedinthetestcircuitsinceitisknownthatsomefittingtypesandmaterialscanaffectfailuretimes.Specimensusedshallberepresentativeofthepipingproduct(s)andmaterial(s)underinvestigation.Note2-Theproceduresdescribedinthistestmethod(withsomemodificationsoftesttemperaturesorstresses,orboth)havebeenusedtoevaluatepipesmanufacturedfrompolybutylene(PB),polyethylene(PE),polypropylene(PP),cross-linkedpolyethylene(PEX),andmultilayer(polymer-metalcomposite)pipes.Thistestmethodisapplicabletomultilayertubingandsystemsusedfortransportofpotablewatercontainingfree-chlorinefordisinfectingpurposes.Theoxidizingpotentialofthetest-fluidspecifiedinthistestmethodexceedsthattypicallyfoundinpotablewatersystemsacrosstheUnitedStates.Thevaluesstatedincm-gramunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationpurposes.Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section12,ofthisspecification.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesamethodfordeterminingtheabrasionofahoseliningwhenacertainamountofspecifiedgritispassedthroughthehose.Themethodisapplicabletorubberandplasticshoseswithaninternalboreof20to50mmusedforgritblasting,shotblastingandsimilaroperations.Themethodmaybeusedforcomparisonoftheabrasionresistanceofdifferenttypesofhose,butnotforspecificationofmaximumabrasioninahosestandard.Comparisonshouldbemadeonthesametypeandsizeofhose.Resultsfromtestscar-riedoutwithdifferenttypesofgritshouldnotbecompared.
