【摘要】:Briquettesofgranularcokepreparedinaccordancewiththelaboratoryproceduresofthispracticewillhaveflat,scratch-freesurfacessuitableforexaminationwithamicroscopeusingreflectedlightillumination.Thepolishedsurfaceofbriquettespreparedusingthispracticewillcontainparticlesrepresentativeoftheoriginalgrosssample.Samplespreparedbythispracticeareusedformicroscopicaldeterminationofthetexturalcomponentsincoke(seeTestMethodD5061).1.1Thispracticecoverslaboratoryproceduresforthepreparationofgranularsamplesofcokeforexaminationwithareflectedlightmicroscope.Thesamplespreparedareusedforidentifyingandquantifyingthetexturalcomponentsincoke.Thispracticedoesnotapplytothepreparationoforientedlumpspecimensofcokeforstructuralanalysis.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
