【摘要】:TheTBXframeworkdefinedbythisInternationalStandardisdesignedtosupportvarioustypesofprocessesinvolvingterminologicaldata,includinganalysis,descriptiverepresentation,dissemination,andinterchange(exchange),invariouscomputerenvironments.TheprimarypurposeofTBXisforinterchangeofterminologicaldata.Itislimitedinitsabilitytorepresentpresentationalmarkup.Intendedapplicationareasincludetranslationandauthoring.TBXismodularinordertosupportthevaryingtypesofterminologicaldata,ordata-categories,thatareincludedindifferentterminologicaldatabases(termbases).TBXincludestwomodules:acorestructure,andaformalismforidentifyingasetofdata-categoriesandtheirconstraints,bothexpressedinXML.ThetermTBX,whenusedalone,referstotheframeworkconsistingofthesetwointeractingmodules.Tomaximizeinteroperabilityoftheactualterminologicaldata,TBXalsoprovidesadefaultsetofdata-categoriesthatarecommonlyusedinterminologicaldatabases.However,subsetsorsupersetsofthedefaultsetofdata-categoriescanbeusedwithintheTBXframeworktosupportspecificuserrequirements.TBX,whenusedwithitsdefaultsetofdata-categories,qualifiesasaterminologicalmarkuplanguage(TML)asdefinedinISO16642,whichwillbereferredtoastheTBX-defaultTMLinthisInternationalStandard.Likewise,othermarkuplanguagesthatcomplywithTBXanduseasubsetofthedefaultsetofdata-categoriesarealsoTMLs,butmaygobyothernames,suchastheonereferredtoinAnnexG(Informative)TBX-Basic.
