【摘要】:1ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiestheconstructionandtestingofintrinsicallysafeapparatus,intendedforuseinpotentiallyexplosiveatmospheresandforassociatedapparatus,whichisintendedforconnectiontointrinsicallysafecircuitswhichentersuchatmospheres.2ThisEuropeanStandardsupplementsEN50014:1992Electricalapparatusforpotentiallyexplosiveatmospheres—generalrequirementsedition1992,therequirementsofwhichapplytointrinsicallysafeapparatusandtoassociatedapparatusexceptasindicatedinthefollowinglist.IfassociatedapparatusisprotectedbyatypeofprotectionlistedinEN50014thentherequirementsofthatmethodofprotectiontogetherwiththerelevantPartsofEN50014alsoapplytotheassociatedapparatus.Thelistofexclusionswhichfollowsisdirectlyapplicabletoassociatedapparatusintendedforuseinsituationswherethereisnopotentiallyhazardousatmosphereandinothercircumstancesshouldbeusedincombinationwiththerequirementsoftheothermethodsofprotection.3Thisstandardisapplicabletoelectricalapparatusinwhichtheelectricalcircuitsthemselvesareincapableofcausinganexplosioninthesurroundingexplosiveatmosphere.4ThisstandardisalsoapplicabletoelectricalapparatusorpartsofelectricalapparatuslocatedoutsidethepotentiallyexplosiveatmosphereorprotectedbyanothertypeofprotectionlistedinEN50014,wheretheintrinsicsafetyoftheelectricalcircuitsinthepotentiallyexplosiveatmospheremaydependuponthedesignandconstructionofsuchelectricalapparatusorpartsofsuchelectricalapparatus.Theelectricalcircuitsexposedtothepotentiallyexplosiveatmosphereareevaluatedforuseinsuchanatmospherebyapplyingthisstandard.NOTE.MethodsofinterconnectionofintrinsicallysafeapparatusandassociatedapparatusarespecifiedinEN50039.
