【摘要】:Theamountofwearinanysystemwill,ingeneral,dependuponthenumberofsystemfactorssuchastheappliedload,machinecharacteristics,slidingspeed,slidingdistance,theenvironment,andthematerialproperties.Thevalueofanyweartestmethodliesinpredictingtherelativerankingofmaterialcombinations.Sincethepin-on-disktestmethoddoesnotattempttoduplicatealltheconditionsthatmaybeexperiencedinservice(forexample;lubrication,load,pressure,contactgeometry,removalofweardebris,andpresenceofcorrosiveenvironment),thereisnoinsurancethatthetestwillpredictthewearrateofagivenmaterialunderconditionsdifferingfromthoseinthetest.Note8212;Fisthenormalforceonthepin,disthepinorballdiameter,Disthediskdiameter,Ristheweartrackradius,andwistherotationvelocityofthedisk.FIG.1Schematicofpin-on-diskweartestsystem.1.1Thistestmethodcoversalaboratoryprocedurefordeterminingthewearofmaterialsduringslidingusingapin-on-diskapparatus.Materialsaretestedinpairsundernominallynon-abrasiveconditions.Theprincipalareasofexperimentalattentioninusingthistypeofapparatustomeasureweararedescribed.Thecoefficientoffrictionmayalsobedetermined.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
