【摘要】:Electricaltests,properlyinterpreted,provideinformationwithregardtotheelectricalpropertiesoftheinsulation.Theelectricaltestvaluesgiveanindicationastohowtheinsulationwillperformunderconditionssimilartothoseobservedinthetests.Electricaltestsmayprovidedataforresearchanddevelopment,engineeringdesign,qualitycontrol,andacceptanceorrejectionunderspecifications.1.1Thesetestmethodscoverproceduresforelectricaltestingofthermoplasticinsulationsandjacketsusedontelecommunicationswireandcableandforthetestingofelectricalcharacteristicsofcompletedproducts.Todeterminetheproceduretobeusedontheparticularinsulationorjacketcompound,orontheendproduct,referenceshouldbemadetothespecificationfortheproduct.1.2Thetestmethodsappearinthefollowingsectionsofthisstandard:1.3Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.SIunitsareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecifichazardstatementsaregiveninSectionsand.1.4In-processelectricaltestsareusedprimarilyasprocesscontroltoolsinanattempttominimizethenumberandmagnitudeofproblemsdetectedatfinaltestofcompletedcable.1.5ElectricaltestsofcompletedwireandcablemayincludeverificationofsomeorallofthepropertiesinaccordancewithSectionsthrough.

【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesamethodforthedeter-minationofenvironmentalstresscracking(ESC)resistanceofplasticsbymeansofaconstantprestraintest.ESCwillbein-dicatedbythechangeofasuitablychosenindicativepropertyofspecimensthathavebeenprestrainedforadefinitetimeintheenvironment.Themethodoftestissuitablefordeterminingtheresistanceofsheetsandofflattestspecimenstoen-vironmentalstresscracking,especiallythesensitivityoflocaliz-edsurfaceregionsofspecimenstoESC.ForthedeterminationoftheESCsensitivityoffinishedarticlesorthebulkofamaterialsubjectedtoaconstantstrain,seeISO4600.ThebentstripmethodissuitableforthedeterminationofESCcausedbygasesandliquidsaswellasbysolidscontainingmigratingsubstances(e.g.polymericadhesivesandmaterialscontainingplasticizers)incontactwithaspecificpolymer.Preferably,thismethodisusedtodeterminetheESCresistanceofrigidplasticswithonlymoderatestressrelaxationintime.Foraconstantstraintest,refertoISO4600.Foraconstantstresstest,refertoISO6252.
