【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversseveralgradesofcarbonandalloysteelseamlessmechanicaltubing.ThegradesarelistedinTables1-3.Whenweldingisusedforjoiningtheweldablemechanicaltubegrades,theweldingprocedureshallbesuitableforthegrade,theconditionofthecomponents,andtheintendedservice.1.2Thisspecificationcoversbothseamlesshot-finishedmechanicaltubingandseamlesscold-finishedmechanicaltubinginsizesuptoandincluding123/4in.(323.8mm)outsidediameterforroundtubeswithwallthicknessesasrequired.1.3Thetubesshallbefurnishedinthefollowingshapes,asspecifiedbythepurchaser:round,square,rectangular,andspecialsections.1.4Supplementaryrequirementsofanoptionalnatureareprovidedandwhendesiredshallbesostatedintheorder.1.5Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.
