【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversstructuralinsulatingboardforgeneralthermalinsulating,fire-resistive,andmarinebulkheadapplications.Therigid,preformedstructuralinsulatingboardisforuseattemperaturesupto1700F(927C).Forspecificapplications,theactualtemperaturelimitshallbeagreeduponbetweenthemanufacturerandthepurchaser.1.2Thestructuralinsulatingboardmaintainsitsstructuralintegrityafterimmersioninwater.1.3Rapidcyclingoverawidetemperaturerangeisnotrecommendedbecauseofpotentialdamageduetothermalshock.1.4Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.TheapproximateSIequivalentsofinch-poundunitsaregiveninparentheses.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.1.5Whentheinstallationoruseofthermalinsulationmaterials,accessoriesandsystems,mayposesafetyorhealthproblems,themanufacturershallprovidetheuserappropriatecurrentinformationregardinganyknownproblemsassociatedwiththerecommendeduseofthecompany''sproducts,andshallalsorecommendprotectivemeasurestobeemployedintheirsafeutilization.Theusershallestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatoryrequirementspriortouse.
