【摘要】:Provideforthephysicalprotectionandcontrolofmoveablepropertyinstorage/warehouselocations,andensurebestvaluewhileavoidingunduerisk.Thispracticeestablishesastandardapproachtostorageandwarehousingofmoveableproperty.Itistheintentofthispracticetoprovideguidanceforaneffectiveandefficientsysteminthestorageofmoveableproperty.Entitiesadoptingthispracticeshallestablishentityspecificpoliciesorprocedures,orboth,implementingthispractice.1.1Thispracticedefinesthephysicalprotectionandcontrolofmoveablepropertyinstoragelocations.1.2Generally,organizationsshouldestablishandmaintaincontrolofmoveablepropertythroughmeansofstorageinamannerthatwillstrikeabalancebetweencostofstorageandthedegreeofprotectionnecessarytomitigatetheriskofloss,damage,ordestruction.1.3ThispracticecoversmoveablepropertyasdefinedinTerminologyE2135.1.4Thispracticeisapplicableandappropriateforallmoveableproperty-holdingentitiesasdefinedinPracticeE2499.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
