【摘要】:Thistestmethodprovidesanindicationoftheamountofenergyusageofthevacuumcleanerwhileoperatingoveraspecifiedcleaningareaataspecifiedstrokespeedandtotalnumberofcleaningstrokes.Thetestareaisdividedintoanumberofstrips,thestripbeingdefinedasthewidthofthepowerheadornozzle.Forthepurposeofthisprocedure,thecleaningareaisspecifiedas10m(15500in.),thestrokespeedisdefinedas0.5x00B1;0.03m/s(1.7x00B1;0.1ft/s),withatotalof8strokesperstrip.Inordertoprovideauniformbasisformeasuringtheperformancedescribedin1.1,standardizedtestcarpetsareemployedinthisprocedure.1.1Thistestmethodcoversonlyalaboratorytestfordeterminingtheenergyusage-ofhouseholdandcommercialupright,canister,stick,andwet/dryvacuumcleanersoperatingoncarpetwhentestedunderspecifiedconditions.1.1.1Vacuumcleaners,otherthanuprightvacuumcleaners,thatprovideacarpet-cleaningfunctionaretestedinaccordancewiththecarpet-cleaninginstructionsprovidedinthemanufacturerx2019;sinstructionmanual.Ifthemanufacturerx2019;sinstructionmanualdoesnotcontaininstructionsforacarpet-cleaningfunction,thevacuumcleanerisnotwithinthescopeofthisprocedure.1.2Thistestmethodisapplicabletohouseholdandcommercialtypesofvacuumcleaners.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Theinch-poundunitsgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
