【摘要】:Theoxidationstabilitytestofmineraltransformeroilsisamethodforassessingtheamountofsludgeandacidproductsformedinatransformeroilwhentheoilistestedunderprescribedconditions.Goodoxidationstabilityisnecessaryinordertomaximizetheservicelifeoftheoilbyminimizingtheformationofsludgeandacid.OilsthatmeettherequirementsspecifiedforthistestinSpecificationD3487tendtominimizeelectricalconduction,ensureacceptableheattransfer,andpreservesystemlife.Thereisnoprovencorrelationbetweenperformanceinthistestandperformanceinservice,sincethetestdoesnotmodelthewholeinsulationsystem(oil,paper,enamel,wire).However,thetestcanbeusedasacontroltestforevaluatingoxidationinhibitorsandtochecktheconsistencyofoxidationstabilityofproductionoils.1.1Thistestmethoddeterminestheresistanceofmineraltransformeroilstooxidationunderprescribedacceleratedagingconditions.Oxidationstabilityismeasuredbythepropensityofoilstoformsludgeandacidproductsduringoxidation.Thistestmethodisapplicabletonewoils,bothuninhibitedandinhibited,butisnotwelldefinedforusedorreclaimedoils.Note1AshorterdurationoxidationtestforevaluationofinhibitedoilsisavailableinTestMethodD2112.Note2Forthoseinterestedinthemeasurementofvolatileacidity,referenceismadetotheworkofIECSubcommittee10A.1.2Thevaluesstatedinmetricunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
