【摘要】:Thispracticeprovidesminimumrecommendationsfortheinstallationofthickpouredgypsumconcretefloorunderlaymentssuitabletoreceiveresilientfloorcoverings.Thispracticeestablishestheproperpreparation,installationandqualitycontrolforthickpouredgypsumconcretefloorunderlayments.Actualrequirementsforthickpouredgypsumconcreteunderlaymentsaregenerallyincludedaspartofprojectplansorspecificationsandmayvaryfromtherecommendationssetforthinthispractice.Projectplansorspecifications,orboth,shallsupersedetherecommendationssetforthinthispractice.1.1Thispracticecoverstheinstallationandpreparationofthethickpouredgypsumconcreteunderlaymentsoverwoodstructuralpanelsubfloorsincommercialstructuresoroverconcretefloorsincommercialstructuresandthepreparationofthethickpouredgypsumconcreteunderlaymentsurfacepriortotheinstallationofresilientflooringincommercialbuildings.1.2Thispracticecoversthefactorsthatarerequiredtobecontrolledwhileinstallingthickpouredgypsumconcreteunderlaymentasabaseforresilientflooring.1.3Thispracticedoesnotcoverthestructuraladequacyofthewoodstructuralpanelsubfloororconcretesubfloor.Thestructuralintegrityofassembliesisgovernedbylocalbuildingcodes.1.4Thispracticedoesnotsupersedeinanymannerthethickpouredgypsumconcreteunderlaymentmanufacturers,adhesivemanufacturersorresilientflooringmanufacturerswritteninstructions.Consulttheindividualmanufacturerforspecificrecommendations.1.5Thickpouredgypsumconcreteunderlaymentsarenotsuitableforuseonconcreteslabsongroundduetopotentialmoistureproblemsarisingfrommoistureintrusion,unlessanadequatevaporretarderorvaporbarrierispresentdirectlybeneaththeconcretesubfloor.1.6Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesstatedinparenthesesareapproximatemathematicalconversionstoSIunits,whichareprovidedforinformationonly.Thispracticemayinvolvehazardousmaterials,operations,andequipment.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
