【摘要】:TheCDIFfamilyofstandardsisprimarilydesignedtobeusedasadescriptionofamechanismfortransferringinformationbetweenmodellingtools.ItfacilitatesasuccessfultransferwhentheauthorsoftheimportingandexportingtoolshavenothingincommonexceptanagreementtoconformtoCDIF.Thelanguagethatisdefinedforthetransferformatalsohasapplicabilityasagenerallanguageforimport/exportfromrepositories.TheCDIFsemanticmetamodeldefinedforCASEalsohasapplicabilityasthebasisofstandarddefinitionsforuseinrepositories.ThestandardswhichformthecompletefamilyofCDIFstandardsaredocumentedinISO/IEC15474-1:2002,Informationtechnology—CDIFframework—Part1:Overview.Thesestandardscovertheoverallframework,thetransferformatandtheCDIFsemanticmetamodel.ThediagraminFigure1depictsthevariousstandardsthatcomprisetheCDIFfamilyofstandards.TheshadedboxdepictsthisStandardanditspositionintheCDIFfamilyofstandards.ThisstandarddefinestheFoundationsubjectareaoftheCDIFsemanticmetamodel.Thissubjectareacontainsthebasicobjectsonwhichallotherobjects,includingthosedefinedusingextensibility,mustbebased.Thisdocumentisintendedtobeusedbyanyonewishingtounderstandand/oruseCDIF.ThisdocumentprovidesadefinitionofasinglesubjectareaoftheCDIFsemanticmetamodel.Itissuitablefor:—ThoseevaluatingCDIF,—ThosewhowishtounderstandtheprinciplesandconceptsofaCDIFtransfer,and—Thosedevelopingimportersandexporters.Thedocument,ISO/IEC15474-1:2002,Informationtechnology—CDIFframework—Part1:Overview,andtheframeworkdocumentISO/IEC15474-2:2002,Informationtechnology—CDIFframework—Part2:Modellingandextensibility,shouldbereadfirstwheninitiallyexploringCDIFandbeforeattemptingtoreadotherdocumentsintheCDIFfamilyofstandards.Whiletherearenospecificprerequisitesforreadingthisdocument,itwillbehelpfulforthereadertohavefamiliaritywiththefollowing:—Entity-Relationship-Attributemodelling;—Modelling(CASE)tools;—Informationrepositories;—Datadictionaries;—Multiplemeta-layermodelling.
